Ahead of the Kick-start of the 2022/2023 Central One Football Association Inter-Community League the Gento Group of Company in Collaboration with President Bio on 22nd August 2022 disburses seeds money to 32 Communities.

The Money is to serve as a booster to the Communities that are going to take part in this year inter- Community league and to help the Communities with the administrative purpose of a smooth running of the inter-Community League. Each of the Communities received some four Million Leones.

The much anticipated Central One Inter-Community League is set to kick off on the 28th of August 2022 between two renowned Communities, Fourah Bay Community are set to go head to head with Summer City Community in the Opening Ceremony at the Parade grounds the Central Part of the Freetown by Circular Road.

Currently, the Gento group of company is doing a massive job on the pitch of play as they are currently leveling the playing venue to meet the demand of the Communities to get a better pitch of play.

Phillips Cline Cole the acting Chairman of the Central One Football Association said they have for the timely intervention of President Bio and the Gento group of company to help the (32) Communities ahead of the kick start of the most watchful inter Community League in the Country.

He said, “Before we have to ponder where to solicit funds to run a successful League, but with the help from the Gento Company in collaboration with the first gentleman has been a plus to us and the Communities as well.”

He affirmed that they have put in place security personnel who will be in charge of manning the security on the Parade grounds for the safety of the fans, Players, and Officials.

Daniel Kufuor the Coordinator of Dwarzak Community said “we are happy and feel honored to receive such an amount of money, it means a lot to us because we use it to boost our squad before the kick-start of the competition.”

“Being time runners up of the competition we want to come strong and win it that is our aim as a community.”  He added.

Mohamed Lamin Sankoh the Chairman of Leicester Road Community said

“We as communities are much happier to receive such an amount from the Gento group of Company in collaboration with the President Bio, we were not expecting such money when we register for this competition, but now we are going to add to the number of players we have and prepare for the competition”.

A total of (32) Communities are set to be part of this year’s Central One Football Association Inter-Community league.
