A 50-year-old woman (name withheld) has been reportedly rapped by her twenty-seven (27) years old stepson Abdulia Farnah aka ‘Launcher’. According to the report, the woman was allegedly raped three miles away from her village in Poll Chiefdom, Tonkolili District.
Responding to questions, Inspector Joseph Amadu noted that upon receiving the said information, a team of police investigators visited the scene of the crime and saw evidences of how the stepmother struggled in the hands of her stepson whilst allegedly raping her. The alleged rapist is a father and husband of four children and two wives respectively.
Meanwhile, some family members of both the survivor and alleged perpetrator have said that the act by the stepson is difficult to ascertain as the perpetrator is mentally in balance; wherein his children and wives have suffered from frequent domestic violence.
The matter is under investigation.
