In a bid to complement President Bio’s School Feeding Programmes and promote the Free Education project in its entirety, Hon Robin Faley has facilitated and embarked on a massive school feeding program on Wednesday August 3rd for 2022 Basic Educational Certificate Examination (BECE) pupils across Kailahun District.

 The school feeding programme took place at various BECE examination centres in Segbwema, kailahun town and Koindu in the far east of the country.

 The Beneficiary Schools in Segbwema town were; the Holy Ghost Secondary School, Wesley and the Ahmadiyya secondary schools. In kailahun town, pupils from kailahun town, Dodo Kotuma, kenewa and the surrounding junior secondary schools benefited.  Kissi Bendu secondary school in koindu, pupils from Sandayalu, Kamgama, Tangabu, Dia and even from towns on the Guinea/ Liberia border also benefited from this great humanitarian gesture from Hon Faley.

In his appreciation statement, the Principal of Wesley secondary school Segbwema Harry Jusu commended Hon. Faley for the outstanding support to the Human Capital Development of the country. He noted that Faley’s support for education is not new adding that, he has been consistently doing so since 2007 when Faley was a sitting MP representing Constituents 007.

The principal of the Holy Ghost Secondary school Segbwema, Mr. John Bull described Hon Faley as the candle that burns itself to create light for others. He added that Hon Faley was a unique politician who is always very close to his people.

The principal of the Kissi Bendu secondary school in Koindu described Hon Faley as a patriotic politician who goes beyond tribe, region, religion and family in his drive to make a difference in the lives of the poor.

He also disclosed he has pupils who travel up to 14 miles or more to come and sit for the exams who didn’t even have money for lunch. He, therefore, considered such a gesture from Hon. Faley is indeed a life-changing generosity.

Mr. Bundor also extended his appreciation to Ign Fallah Kenewa Tengbeh, a son of the Kissi kingdom who collaborated with Hon. Faley to make the Koindu School feeding a huge success.

Mr. Samuel Tengbeh, principal of the Methodist secondary school in Kailahun town, also lavished praises on Hon. Faley for his continued humanitarian gestures in the district. He said Faley’s support for education is indeed a fantastic boost for president Bio’s vision for Free Quality Education in the country.

The pupils who benefited from the feeding prayed for more financial blessings and good health for Hon Faley so that he can continue with his efforts to improve and change the lives of his people, particularly the poor.

The excited pupils went home singing Robinho Robinho “nar we Jangaban ,  Maada Bio nar we Commander en Saviour.!!”
