Vice Chairman East End Lions and CEO Gento Group of Company, Mohamed Gento Kamara has motivated Communities to take part in this year’s Central One Football Association Inter Area league with the sum of Four Million Leone (Le 4 M) each.
He added that the Gento Group of Company will present two sets of home & away jerseys to all registered communities. He said the gesture is to motivate young players to achieve their dreams of playing football. He said: “I have served as an executive member in one of the most successful clubs in the country,” he said. “We are doing the same at the Brima Autauga complex, adding that the same will be done at School Yard ongoing Community League.
Gento continued the “the sum of Le 2 million set aside for team’s progress to the second rounds, quarter and semi-finals respectively.”
When asked for the cash price for both the champions and runners-up; he said “His Excellency Rtd Brig. Maada Bio has pledged Le 50 Million for the champions and Le 30 million for the runners-up. He however called on Communities taking part in this year’s tournament to behave and embrace each other.
He further that the support to the Communities is holding them in areas of requirements of players ahead of the commencement of the most watchful inter-community league and the money given to them will help them greatly as all the participating teams are looking forward to winning their year league.
Mohamed Gento Kamara said is not the first time he has been supporting football and key evidence is practically seen in his tremendous support to one of the top-flight Premier League clubs East End Lions Football Club and continues giving his support to Football.
Phillip Cline Cole the acting Chairman of the Central One Football Association said they are grateful for the help of Mohamed Gento Kamara and the support came at the time they need most because Finance is one key thing when it comes to organizing an Inter-Community league and that will give more credence to competition and all participating Communities will feel grateful in the competition.
