The Students Union Government of Njala University, Bo Campus, has released a press statement due to a press release that has been circulating on different social media platforms, with talks of Njala University students across the country planning to engage in strike action against the government of Sierra Leone with regards the increment in fuel prices.
The Njala Students Union Government believes in national development and peaceful coexistence within the country, therefore, their government refrains from these claims as they are very peaceful and law-abiding students.
Therefore, the Students Union Government under the leadership of Her Excellency President YE ABU hereby disassociate themselves from such rumours, and they are encouraging all the students at Njala University Bo campus to deviate from perpetuating or involving in any form of riot, and are also encouraged to continue to remain peaceful, responsible and law-abiding citizens of Sierra Leone.
