Sima Conteh a business man made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny.
According to the particulars of offence on the 9th May 2022 at the Sierra Leone Broad Casting Service Compound New England Ville the western area in Freetown did stole two roll earth Cable Value nine million Leones (9,000,000) property of the Sierra Leone Broad Casting Service (SLBC) whilst in the custody of Abdul Koroma.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
Counsel representing the accused person A.A Sankoh renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of the accused person.
Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of twenty million Leones with two sureties in like sum surety to be resident in the western area, both sureties should produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown one surety to be employed bail to be approved by the Bench.
Deputy Superintendent of police Eric A Deen Prosecuting, and matter was adjourned to the 20th July 2022 for further hearing.
