The West Africa Football Union tournament will take place in Mauritania as Sierra Leone’s underside is set to be among the (8) teams that will be taking part in this year’s tournament.
The (8) countries are Mauritania, The Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Cape Verde, Senegal, and Sierra Leone are eight teams which will participate in the upcoming tournament.
The qualification will run from August 28-September 10 2022.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups.
The top two teams will progress to the semifinals, where the two finalists will earn qualification for U-20 AFCON in Egypt in 2023.

Ibrahim Sillah has invited (50) players as the Country prepares to commence training on 12th July 2022 in readiness for West Africa Football Union (WAFU) ZONE A Championship which will be hosted in Mauritania in August this year.
In the last tournament in Conakry Guinea, the national undersides Shooting Stars finished in the third position, and now Coach Ibrahim Sillah is looking to take his side to the finals or possibly win it.
