The Newly Crowned Champion Bo Rangers Football Club and fifth place FC Kallon have on 30th June 2022 completed their registrations for the Confederation of Africa Football competition.

The inclusion of FC Kallon came following the withdrawal of the runners-up East End Lions, the Champions Bo Rangers will be representing Sierra Leone in CAF interclub Champions League competitions for the first in its entire history, the Southern Province-based club is the second club provincial team another side Freetown to have won the country top flights league after Eastern Province based club Diamond Stars in 2012.

Fifth-place team FC Kallon will play in the continent’s second-tier inter-club competition CAF Confederations Cup following a request by the Freetown-based club after East End Lion refuses to participate in the competition despite ending below Champions Bo Rangers in the second position.

The Country’s most successful football club East End Lions withdrawal came in as a result of the Sierra League Premier League board (PLB) in the just concluded league failing to award a Runners up in the 2019 Premier League we’re awarded a (Le 100,000,000) one hundred million Leones and East End Lions are yet to receive a done from the 2021/22 Premier League Board.

According to Tunda Scott, the Team Manager of FC Kallon they are one hundred percent ready to represent Sierra Leone and they are going to boost their squad ahead of their Confederation representation as a present their working to get the best team before they kick off their Preliminary round of the qualifiers.
