Newly-crowned Premier League champions Bo Rangers celebrated during a parade around the Bo city after clinching their first title in 68years.
Thousands of fans lined the streets as the open-top bus parade made its way through the city centre.
Bo Rangers took to the streets 24 hours after winning their first Premier League title in 68years.
Armed with their trophy, Rangers’ players embarked on an open-top bus parade through Bo city to celebrate with their supporters.
The players each took turns at holding the trophy at the front of the bus, which carried the inscription: “PREMIER LEAGUE 21/22 CHAMPIONS!”
After their celebratory bus trip was over, Rangers’ players and staff arrived at an event where they addressed their supporters from the gate of Southern arena.
Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers, Babadi Kamara said it had been an “incredible achievement”.
“This has been the toughest league and the first we have won since we have been here,” said Babadi Kamara as Bo Rangers players and staff gathered after trophy parade.
“I can see happiness on the faces of people”.
Bo Rangers as winners ended the race with 78 points – the first highest total in Premier League history and with 19 goals from Bo Rangers’ striker Musa Tombo a Premier League highest goal scorer in history.
East End Lions came second with 62 points, which is the second highest total.
Wielding their trophy, Rangers players embarked.
The icing on the celebration will be a dinner for players’ officials, Minister of Sports, SLFA President and Exco members, supporters and key stakeholders was held at the Gallinese hotel.
