20yrs old Sallieu Bah made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on three court charges to wit Wounding with intent contrary to section 18 of the offences against the person Act 1816, Wounding contrary to section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861 and Assault occaisioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 12th June 2022 Lumley road the western area in Freetown maliciously wounded Kelleh Koroma with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm and assaulted him in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and no plea taken.
The Police prosecutor informed the Bench that his witness is present but he did not have proper conference with him, and the accused person was sent to the male correctional center in Freetown.
Matter adjourned to the 24th June 2022 for further hearing, while Deputy Superintendent of police Eric A. Deen Prosecuting.
