The Western Area Football Association Division two has on 22nd February, 2021, continued the ongoing tournament at seven different venues within the Western Area. Results from those venues are surprising since the start of the competition.

The results are as follows: at the Approved School playing field. Tejan Football club lock horns with Young Doctors F.C. After the ninety minutes Tejan Football club bow to Young Doctors with a two comfortable win in their opening fixture.

At the Brima Attouga Mini Stadium Portee Sunlight Football club welcome Rokel Football Rokel Football club in a good match. Rokel Football Club opened the score line in the early five minutes of play.  Portee Sunlight however fought back to get a goal but later suffered at the end in a three goals to one (1_3) full time play.

At the Siaka Stevens Stadiums Practicing Field East End Tigers Football Junior Team hosted Black Pool Junior Football club. The Tigers secured three comfortable goals and secured all three points.

At the Parade Grounds, Central Parade Football Club Junior Team locked-horn with Brookfield City and both teams played the first half to a goalless draw. In the second half the Brookfield City FC, fondly called the Citizens, secured a two zero comfortable goals. They therefore secured all three points in the opening fixtures.

According to the head coach of Brookfield City, “I am happy over the results because  this is what the fans have been yearning for all this while and we are looking forward to face more contest in the ongoing Division Two League.”

The Head Coach of Central Parade Football Club Junior Team said the team have not being together all these while and in the first place as team they were not certain about playing the competition and that again affected his boys performance in the today’s  match but promised that team will come very strong.

At the Fourah Bay playing Field, Abu Bakarr Shaggo opened the score for Kurdish Football Club as they had three goals comfortable win against Navo Football club. Both goals came in the second half.

At the Angola Town Markiana Football club suffer two goals against Godrich Football as Godrich were very outstanding to get a good starts in their opening fixtures.

At the Police Field playing grounds Bhantal Football settled to goalless draw with Philip Football Club. Match ended in a stalemate.

The Western Area Football Association Division two continues again with interesting fixtures across the Capital.

The fixtures are:

Freetown Giant will welcome Kellie Football club at the Police Field*

Bundi Football club will go head to head with Fullah Town at the Parade Ground

AY Soccer Football Club will welcome SYL Football at the Practicing field

Lion Pride Football club will welcome Hereford Football

All matches set to kick start at exactly 4:30 pm.
