46yrs old Samuel Issa Sannoh the headman at Matindi village Waterloo made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Trespass contrary to section 15 (1) (b) of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965.

According to the particulars of offence sometimes in October 2021 in Matindi village Waterloo the western area in Freetown the accused person did unlawfully entered into the Land of the complainant Ahmed Nasser when required not to do so.

The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty. 

Counsel representing the accused person J.T Mansaray applied for bail on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean he has reliable sureties who are ready to enter into recognizance on his behalf that he is not a flight risk he made is application pursuant to section 79 3 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965.

Magistrate Kekura granted the accused person bail in the sum of ten million Leones or one surety in like sum the surety must be resident in the western area the surety should show proof of his or her residential Status bail to be approved by the Deputy assistant Registrar Matter adjourned to the 22nd June 2022 for further hearing.

Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy prosecuting the matter.
