Western Area Rural District Council headed by Kasho J Holland Cole including the Chief Administrator Raman Tom Farmar has arrested one Samuel Musa Koroma who posed to be a Valuation Officer, on Tuesday 14th June 2022.
He appeared before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Court No 3 on Pademba Road, Freetown on a count of impersonation contrary to Section 3 of the impersonation and Uniform Ordinance Cap 34 of 1905 as Amended by Sub Section 4 and 5 of the Personation and Uniform Act No.13 of 1975.
According to the charge sheet the accused Samuel Musa Koroma on Thursday 19 May 2022, at Rokel Village, Freetown, were found posing as valuation officer of the Western Area Rural District Council, without lawful authority.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
However, Magistrate Tucker refused bail and adjourned the matter to the 16th June 2022 for further hearing.
Chief Inspector Francis Macauley is Prosecuting the matter.
