19yrs old Khalil Murlchni made his first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.2 in Freetown on one count charge to wit house breaking and larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 26th May 2022 at AB 335 Murray Town Barracks the western area in Freetown with intent to steal break and entered into the dwelling house of Benjamin Taylor and stole therein the sum of two million five hundred thousand Leones(2,500,000) property of Benjamin Taylor
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
However the prosecution informed the Bench that his witness is present but she didn’t get proper conference with him.
The accused was sent to the male correctional center in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to the 17th June 2022 for further hearing.
Sergeant 10980 Hannah Newstead is prosecuting the matter.
