An Egyptian Medical Specialist has introduced a medical revolution in the country that has attracted a groundswell of patients rushing at his Freetown facility to find cure and relief.

His ability to diagnose, treats cancer and other ailments without opening- up patients’ body, but uses a special technology.

Also Dr. Waheed spoke about his introduction of IVF technology, In vitro fertilization (IVF) as a complex series of procedures used to help with fertility or prevent genetic problems and assist with the conception of a child. During IVF, mature eggs are collected (retrieved) from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. Then the fertilized egg (embryo) or eggs (embryos) are transferred to a uterus.

Many pregnant women have attested to the efficiency of his procedures and have been sharing the good result with others. In a space of one year the hospital has treated over one thousand cases.

In an interview with A-Z Newspaper he disclosed that he can treat a minimum of forty patients many coming from the interior with their problems that are treated at the Life Care Center.

The Egyptian Medical Specialist, with track record of practice in many countries, says he has a good rapport with the government ever since he obtained license and permit to practice lawful medicine in Sierra Leone.

He added that he is even open to information sharing with officials of the Ministry of Health about possible areas of collaboration in dealing with gynecologist and infectious conditions including malaria.

“But my specific interest is the set-up of an ecological cancer treatment center and I am talking with some people to get it functional and more responsive to the needs of Sierra Leoneans.”

He says he look forward to working with other Sierra Leonean specialist and even creating training opportunities to expand the effect of his medical revolution.

Asked how long he intends to stay in Sierra Leone Dr. Waheed responded by saying: “I want to stay forever and help deal with many health complications.”

He states the prevailing COVID 19 environment has not negatively impacted their work, stressing that the adherence to the preventive protocol is the best option and reliance to keep safe at this material time.
