24yrs old Ibrahim Kanu a motorbike rider made his first appearance before Magistrate Alpha Rashid Jalloh of Pademba Road Court No.4 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Fraudulent Conversion Contrary to Law.
According to the particulars of offence on diverse dates between 1st September to 30th September 2021 at Gloucester village the mountain rural district the western area in Freetown Fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say one Star HLX motor cycle with registration number AQM 034 value eight million Leones (8,000,000) entrusted to him by Alie Koroma that in order that he run same on a commercial basis.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
However, Magistrate Jalloh sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 20th May 2022 for further hearing ASP Grace B.T Smith prosecuting the matter.
