Bo Rangers football club has over the weekend defeated the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces football club(RSLAF) by three goals to nil at the Kenema Town Field.

Musa Noah Kamara (Musa Tombo) is the leading goal scorer in the Premier League scored from the penalty spot after Abu Bakarr Kanu was brought down in the RSLAF penalty area to give his side the lead in the first half of play. The host pushes back to get a goal but the solid defensive work of the Rangers denies them.

Lamin Kargbo doubled the Visitor’s lead with his 42nd-minute header from Amadu Mansaray’s corner whilst Mohamed Fogbawa blasted home a short-range before the break.

After the break, both teams return to action with high hopes of getting all three points, but the host was more determined to see how best they get more goals, but they succeeded in sending off Bo Rangers Box to Box midfielder Sembu Kargbo in the 64th minutes and dominated possession, however, they were unable to stop Bo Rangers on three consecutive clean sheet in top-flight football in the Premier League.

With the red Card of Sembu Kargbo, Bo Rangers resisted all attempts from RSLAF not to conceive a goal, in the second half of play the Rangers substitute Alusine T. Kamara’s terrific shot hit the post.

With this, Bo Rangers need just a point to be crowned Champions if they manage a draw at home to FC Johansen on Saturday, and their last match will be against Central Parade.

At the Approve School ground, Mighty Blackpool forces Bai Bureh Warriors to a two-all draw as Ron Gandi Williams scored a dramatic late equalizing for his Mighty Blackpool side as the Tis-Tas boys drew at home against Bai Bureh Warriors football club.

At the Brima Attouga field, Port Authority Football club was held to a (1-1) draw by defending champions East End Lions. The killers, who are chasing Bo Rangers for the title, could not win their last three matches(D2, L1) their hope to catch the Elephants was further dented by the waterfront boys.

East End Lions have three more matches to spare, they have to play against RSLAF, at home, play against stubborn Bai Bureh Warriors at home and their last match will be away to Mount Aureole SLIFA.

Port Authority football club’s next three matches, they have to host FC Kallon on Saturday, and host Wusum Stars and also host East End Tigers in their last match.

At Wusum field in Makeni, Wusum Stars Football club defeated Kamboi Eagles football club by a goal to nil as they snatch all three points at home. Their next three are to play away to Sierra Leone Police, play away to Port Authority and host Freetown City Council at home.

Whilst Kamboi Eagles’ next three matches are an away match to Mighty Blackpool, away to Freetown City Council and their last match will be at home against the Sierra Leone Police Football team. The Premier League continues this Friday with host of matches.
