The Western Area Football Association has on 13th April 2022 released fixtures for the region playoff to get four representatives ahead of the commencement of the female Premier League in the Country.
According to David Gerald Turner the Public Relations Officer of the Western Area Football Association there are a total of twelve teams going to take part in the qualifiers that will end on 30th April 2022 this month. He noted the female team has completed their registration ahead of the qualifiers.
He affirmed that they have held countless engagements with the twelve clubs, and they have been brief about the rules and regulations that govern the game the clubs have been told the number of players and the behavior of the fans towards the smooth running of the qualifiers.
The Western Area Football Association is calling on the female clubs to go by the rules of the game, noting that will help for smooth qualifiers in the next weeks ahead as teams have been in intensive preparation to book their place in the national league.
All the Twelve teams will have to play five matches in the qualifiers and only four top teams will represent the region in the upcoming female National League that is set to take place next month in May 2022 according to the female Premier League board.
In today’s fixtures, East End Lioness will take on the Victory Evangelist Ministry football team at the Fourah Bay Field at 4 p.m.
At Angola Townfield Argenta Football Club will welcome Tornado Football Club
@ 2 pm.
At SLFA Academy in Kingtom Sierra Leone, the Correctional female team will welcome the Amazon football club @ 4pm.
At the Angola field, the Red Eaglet football club will face the FC Kallon Female team @ 4pm.
At the Police field, Luwa Angels will lock with the Sierra Leone Police team.
