Musa Kamara, Saidu Kamara, Sheku Kanu Sallieu Fofanah, Foday Bangura, Amara Sesay and eight others made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on ten courts charges five Count ranging from riotous conduct contrary to Section 12 (a) of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965 as repealed and replaced by Section 12 (a) of Act No.15 of 1973 and five Count of disorderly behavior contrary to section 12 of the public order Act No.46 of 1965 as repealed and replaced by Section 15 of Act No2 of 1973

According to the particulars of offence on Monday 28th March 2022 at Kroobay and various locations in Freetown did behave in a riotous manner on count two at the same date at Wright Road and various locations in Freetown behave in a disorderly manner

The charges were read and explained to all the accused persons and they pleaded guilty on all counts charged.

The lead counsel  M. Bareteh pleading on behalf of the accused persons said the accused persons didn’t waste the time of the court. He said the bench should caution and discharge the accused persons as this is their first time to have come in conflict with the Law.  

However, Magistrate Kekura giving refused bail and sent all accused persons to the male correctional center in Freetown for records and sentence.

 Matter adjourned to the 11th April 2022 for further hearing.
