Isaac Rillo Jim made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Keikura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown.
The accused was before the court on one count charge of Larceny by Bailfee Contrary to Section two of the Larceny act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence the accused Issac Rillo Jim on date unknown between the 1st November 2019 and the 30th November 2019 at No.1 Noah drive upper Maja town Goderich did steal as a Bailfee one Range river spot Jeep with registration numbers ANG 122 Valued at eleven thousand united states dollar equivalent to one hundred and ten million Leones entrusted to him by Abubakar Yumkella Kalloh for the purpose of repaired property of Abubakar Yumkella Kalloh the complainant.
Leading evidence by Inspector Kadie M Taylor Prosecution witness number two Sub- Inspector Musa P Kamara attached at the CID Headquarter in Freetown he recongised the accused and the Complainant and recalled on the 12th August 2021, whist on duty when a case of an enquirer files was allocated to him with his colleagues now diseased DPC 15105 Sesay A obtained statement from the Complainant and the life card in question is handed over to the investigating teams the investigating team sent to the accused person for him to report at the CID Headquarters
And on the 16th November 2021, himself and his colleagues obtained voluntary statements from the accused person the accused person lead the investigating team to the Garage and they discovered that some part of the vehicle was missing
On the 8th December 2021 they wrote a letter to the vehicle examiner, two days later the vehicle examiner went to the Garage at Maja town Godierich Freetown.
On the 14th December 2021, the investigating team received a report from the said vehicle examiner.
On the 24th December 2021 the accused person was charged with the Offense of Larceny DPC 15105 Signed and recorded and he signed as the witness.
However Magistrate Keikura refused bail and adjourned the matter to the 5th March 2022 for cross examination
