42yrs old Saidu Dumbuya a Cobbler made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 5th March 2022 at Lower Kingharman Road Brookfields the Western area in Freetown did steal by trick one black back bag containing one black tecno pop4 mobile phone valued eight hundred and fifty thousand Leones (850,000) one black Huawei mobile phone valued five hundred thousand Leones (500,000) all to the total valued of one million three hundred thousand Leones (1,300,000) and the sum of six hundred and fifty thousand Leones (650,000) and assorted documents property of Tamba Dennis Lebbie
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty
The police told the Bench that the fact has changed and there are no available records
However, Magistrate Gogra sentenced the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown for eight Months
Inspector Musu E Kpulun is prosecuting the matter
