Seventh Prosecution witness (PW7) Detective Police Constable 13274 Bangura H attached to the scientific support unit at the Criminal Investigation Department has said at the time he was instructed to go to the building site of Complainant Anthony Brewah (former Attorney General) he observed that the pillars that were erected were damaged.

The accused on the above action was arraigned before magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No 1 for summary trial on three count charges of Conspiracy to commit malicious damage, malicious damage and larceny.

He was alleged to have maliciously damaged pillars and other properties valued at forty nine million, six hundred and thirty thousand Leones belonging to Anthony Yerro Brewah.

Led in his examination in chief, the police witness recognized the accused person, and  said on Wednesday 21st April 2021, he was on duty at the crime scene office when detective sergeant 7741 Vandi M arrival and informed him to visit a crime scene at Hamilton in respect of the matter.

The witness said upon receiving the instructions, they left the Criminal Investigation Department and   Mr. Lansana Daramy showed them the damaged pillars and took photographs of them.

Explaining further, PW7 said the photographs were printed and kept in police custody. He produced and tendered them as exhibits in respect of the matter.

Questioned by prosecuting counsel the witness confirmed that a part from the pillars he did not notice any other damage. He said the areas he was directed were full of pillars.

The witness was Cross examined by defense Counsel M. Musa, and at the end of cross examination, the Prosecution declares their case close.

In that light, magistrate Sahr Kekura adjourned the matter to the 24th of Match 2022.
