A 31-man delegation comprises of players, officials and a Pressman has departed the shores of Sierra Leone on Saturday 13th February 2021 for Conakry-Guinea ahead of an international Basketball friendly match against Guinea on Sunday February 14, 2021.
According to the Head coach of the Sierra Leone Basketball Federation Alhaji Harun Sesay, said they are well prepared ahead of the match and that his players are looking forward to defeat their Guinean opponent.
Coach Sesay stated that they will depart to Guinea with 16 homed based players and they are expecting a total of 6 foreign based players from USA, England, Germany, Austria and Philippines that will join the team in Conakry.
The Federation’s President Joseph Nyande and leader of the delegation to Guinea revealed that the game will be streamed Live on Facebook and other social media platforms, also on TV canal 242 and other media. Links will also be shared prior to the friendly match; this match will continue to build good relationship with their Guinean counterpart.
The Delegation is expected back home on Monday 15th February 2021.
