‘THIRTY KISS’ GRANTED 100m BAIL FOR THEFT

23yrs old David Koroma alias ‘Thirty kiss’ made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Sunday the 12th day of December 202,  at Kargbo off Ogoo Farm the western area in Freetown Stole one gold wrist watch valued three million Leones, one silver wrist watch valued two million leones, one gold necklace valued twenty million Leones, one pair of dior brand crep valued one million Leones, one pair of Nike crep valued one million five hundred thousand Leones, physical cash of six million Leones and one hundred United States dollars all to the total sum of thirty Four million six hundred and fifty thousand Leones(34,650,000) Property of Yalani Janneh whilst under the custody of Mohamed Kabba. 

The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty. 

A.O. Blar and A.I Barrie Esq representing the accused person applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean resident within this jurisdiction he is not a flight risk nor will he interfere with prosecution witness or witnesses he made his application pursuant to section 79 3 of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965.

Magistrate Kekura granted the accused person bail in the sum of one hundred million Leones or one surety in like sum surety must be resident within his jurisdiction surety should produce identity card depicting his/her addresses in Freetown bail to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.

Matter adjourned to the 2nd February 2022.
