State counsel Yusuf S Koroma has made an amendment on the case file of Santigie Bai Koroma in order for proper justice to prevail.
The accused is before Justice AK Musa for proper trial for unlawful possession of an AK 47 riffle and live rounds ammunitions.
State counsel made an application for an amendment for the statement of offence in count one by deleting the word with aggravation after the word commit so that it may read conspiracy to commit a felony.
In count two, on the first line, the deletion of the word with aggravation and on the second line the deletion of section 23(1) (a) to be replaced by section 23(2) and being armed with Ak-47 riffle loaded with live rounds bullets
He said if the application is granted it will serve in the best interest of justice.
Upon hearing the application of state counsel which was not objected by defense counsel, Justice AK Musa granted the application and endorsed same on the indictment.
The charges were read to the accused by the court clerk and he pleaded not guilty. He was alleged to have robbed Ella Satta moijeh properties worth forty five million Leones.
At that stage state counsel seeks for an adjourned date in order for him to bring in his witnesses.
Justice AK Musa adjourned the matter to the 10th of February 2022 for the Prosecution to commence with the matter.
