The Western Football Association has on Wednesday the 10th February 2021 informed all first division, second division and under-15 clubs that it will start league competition on the following date.
The first division will start on the 14th February 2021.
Second division will start on 21th February 2021.
U15 competitions will start on 7th February 2021.
The Association however stressed that clubs should complete their registration of players, return their license card on or before Wednesday 17 February 2021.
The fixtures for all of levels will be out on Monday the 15tb February 2021.
This is second time the Association has put things in place to start its competition. But because of the second wave of the Covid-19 in the World and the Country and the ban on football fans not to spectate these matches, including the financial implications that go with it, forced the Association to put on hold, the competition that could have started last month.
The Association last month organized a refreshers training course for both Coaches and administrative secretaries to capacitate them ahead of the commencement of the competition. This year league competition is going to be unique and spiced with community flavor because there is going to be (fifty) division in two categories based on three zones.
