Antonio Rudiger Launched Humanitarian Foundation

German international footballer Antonio Rüdiger who is playing his professional football for Chelsea Football has on 27th January 2022 launched his Humanitarian foundation at the Country loge in Freetown Sierra Leone.

The foundation’s goals will be education, infrastructure, and capacity building in the field of sport, and to help less privileged children to get a better education.

Antonio Rüdiger, his brother Sahr Senesie, as well as his father and mother, were all in attendance.

The program was climax with pledges from a variety of people. Antonio Rüdiger has pledged $40k, his brother Sahr pledged $20k, and numerous other pledges.

In another development, the Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger has been conferred as Football Ambassador of Sierra Leone, and he was also handed a diplomatic passport by the first gentleman of Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio in a ceremony held at the state lodge.

The German international has a Sierra Leonean trace as his mother is from Sierra Leone and his father is a German but he was born in Germany. Previously, he had wanted to represent his motherland but opted to represent his fatherland, Germany.
