Police in Makeni have arrested at least two men for allegedly gang raping a twenty four year old woman (name withheld).
Report states that the woman in question was travelling from Freetown to Makeni in a private vehicle with at least four men whom she met in the vehicle.
Reports maintained that the driver of the said vehicle has driven very close to Makeni where one of his Colleagues in the vehicle told the twenty four years old woman to show some understanding but the woman never understood what the driver meant and as a result, the driver stopped the vehicle.
As the woman was about to urinate, the four men in the vehicle allegedly attacked and gang raped her.
Our correspondent pointed out that few minutes after the four men have allegedly gang raped the woman in question, two men who were passing by rescued her and reported the matter to the Makeni Police Station.
Later, two culprits were arrested and are helping the police with their investigation as report further that the other two men who allegedly gang raped the woman in question are said to be on run.
Meanwhile, the survivor of the reported gang rape is responding to intensive medical treatment at the Makeni Government Hospital.
