There has been a wave of rumor mongering about purported cannibalism acts, refered to as kaych, Kaych, but the Police has been swift to counter such unfounded information.
The Bo police West Media officer Inspector Mohammed Bobson Senu dispelled the claims when A-Z Bo correspondent contacted him.
The Police have allayed the apprehension of resident of the city and environs that must not be worried as such actions if they should ever happened will be dealt decisively in accordance with law to assure public safety.
However, we have gathered that a 55 year old woman got missing on the 2nd of January 2021 and her corps was later discovered on the 13th January at Gbatima Bobokombor section in Bo. Community members, who saw the corpse, claimed that there were signs of mutilation, suggesting ritual murder.
Inspector Mohammed Bobson Senu alluded to the said matte,r saying it is under investigation and appealed to members of the public to aid the investigation by volunteering credible information.
