This weekend the Sierra Leone Premiere League will take its central stage in the last rounds of the first round of fixtures and sets to unfold in eight different venues across the country.
In the upcoming weekend fixtures, on Saturday at the BO Mini Stadium at 4 pm Bo Rangers Football club will welcome RSLAF as their host. BO Rangers are hoping to continue their good run at home as they are yet to lose a home match since the start of the League. The club currently seat in the second place and with a win, they will go top of the table while the visitor RSLFA are going into the match with a winning mentality after defeating Anti-Drugs football at the Siaka Stevens Stadium by two goals to nil.
At the Port Loko Mini Stadium, Bai Bureh Warriors will host a rejuvenated Mount Aureole SLIFA, the visitors are going into the match with a winning mentality as they won their last three matches while the host is struggling with form and they currently in the relegation battle but a win on Saturday will see them off the relegation zone.
At the Kenema Townfield on Saturday at 4 pm, Kamboi Eagles Football will welcomes the Old Edwardian Football club at the Kenema artificial turf a match an expected mouth-watering match because the visitors have been in poor form in their last three matches. They have only been able to pick up one win as they seat in the twelve positions after sixteen matches played, and out of the sixteen matches played they have only won three matches eight draws and five defeats.
On the other hand, the host is in a good form going into the match with four points from their last three matches Kamboi Eagles secured a vital three-point against Anti-Drugs away from home, but currently, the camps are worried because their Team Manager has tender resignation and this have worrisome for them as they will entertain Edwardian FC this weekend.
At the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Mighty Blackpool Football Club will host FC Johansen Football as the final Saturday match. Mighty Blackpool is coming into to the match with a poor form as their last three matches have been two draws and a defeat and they seat in the eleventh position of the league table.
On Sunday at the Approved School Mini Stadium, Port Authority Football Club will host bitter rivals Freetown City Council F.C. According to the head coach of Port Authority Football, Lamin Bangura said his boys are prepared for the encounter though it is not going to be an easy match but showed confident that his boys are going to get the needed three points, while the Assistant coach of Freetown City, Hassan Bongo Man said the team is in high spirit and are preparing for that match, but called on the fans to continue giving their supports to the team.
At the Museum Mini Stadium on Sunday Wusum Stars Football club will welcome Sierra Leone Police Football with both teams looking to secure a win after poor runs of matches in their respective three matches, the visitors need to win to ease the pressure in the regulations fight as they are in the last position of the table.
The Premier League leaders East End Lions will on Sunday host Central Parade at the Siaka Stevens Stadium @6pm as the current Premier League champion in 2018/2019 are struggling with their form they have gone two matches without a win, the last match they force Mount Aureole SLIFA to a draw, while the visitors are coming into the match with poor runs as they lost their last two matches but hoping to get a win in these match.
At the Koidu Townfield, Diamond Stars will lock horn with East Tigers Football at 4 pm, Tigers are going to this match with the lackluster form while the host team Diamond Stars Football have picked up from their poor runs and they are going to this match with determining side because their last match they secured a vital win away from home.
