34yrs old Frederick Tarawallie made another appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.2 in Freetown on two count charges ranging from Fraudulent conversion contrary to section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on a date unknown between the 1st August to the 30th September 2016 at low cost housing, Kissy the western area in Freetown Fraudulently converted to your own use or benefit certain property that is to say five hundred (500) carat gold valued thirty six million Leones (36,000,000) entrusted to him by Alimamy Momodu Bangura for the purpose of sales and on count two on the same date entrusted to the accused person by Amagendy of Ghana for the purpose of delivering same to Alimamy Momodu Bangura at No.12b Regent Road Lumley Freetown.
The statement of the accused person was tender in court to form part of his evidence.
Lawyer representing the accused person M.S Kargbo renewed his bail application on behalf of the accused person.
However, Magistrate Ngegba said he will consider bail on the next adjourning date because the accused person is a flight risk.
Sergeant 10980 Hannah Newstead prosecuting and matter adjourned to the 19th November, 2021.
