Proprietor of Providence School Highlights Challenges

The Proprietor of the Providence International Primary School at York Section in Bo, Rev George Bobson Quaker has disclosed that inadequate finance is among the challenges confronting the running of the school.

He made this statement at a Community Teachers Association meeting held at the school grounds in Bo over the weekend.

He said that lack of support and poor remuneration to service are key challenges undermining the smooth running of the school.

He furthered that the school is been run on charity basis and that bulk of support the school received are from the donor partners and friends from overseas countries.

Rev Quaker informed parents and well-wishers that frantic efforts are been made to solicit support from parents in order to improve the teaching capacity of teachers.

Rev Quaker called on the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education to help approve staff and provide subsidy in order to promote the free and quality education of President Bio.

He reaffirms his commitment to providing quality education to the people of New York and its surrounding.

Parents called on the education ministry to support the school as the proprietor of the school has done his best to open the school, adding that “the intervention of the government is urgently needed.
