As part of his preparedness to provide satisfactory security for the people of Bo and its environs, AIG Aiah Edward Samadia has on Monday 25th October 2021, engaged personnel of Bo West and East Divisions to a strategic planning meeting at Regional Police Headquarters in Bo.
Speaking to Divisional Commanders, the AIG expressed his ultimate dismay for lack of cooperation from the Divisional Operation Officers of Bo West and East Divisions in Bo.
The AIG reiterated that since the released of the generic operational order for policing the armed Robbery and other felonious offences within Bo and its immediate environs, nothing has been implemented by the two operation officers in the city of Bo.
He stressed on team work, noting that “my policing strategy is gearing towards proactive policing in a bid to forestall the re-occurrence of heinous crimes”.
He therefore pleaded with all to work as a team for better service delivery.
AIG Samadia emphasized that the generic Operational Order was in preparation for the policing of the yuletide period so that Divisional Commanders will customize the operational order based on peculiarities of the terrains for effective implementation,
The Regional Support Officer South CSP Patrick Lahai Dumbuya, was tasked with the responsibility to ensure maintenance of the two vehicles for effective police patrol to curb crime.
The Local Unit Commander (LUC) Bo West, ACP Joseph W Saffa encouraged all to work as a team, as according to him they are on oath as promised to provide decent and diligent service delivery for mankind.
The Regional Support Officer South CSP Patrick Lahai Dumbuya emphasized on the importance of team work, which according to him should be their focus and lured all present to change the narrative for the betterment of the Organization.
Support Officer ASP Harry Oliver Tucker expressed concern for a stringent action to be taken against defaulters as this will serve as a deterrent for others and improve on effective performance.
