26yrs old George Mansaray made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy contrary to law and Robbery with Aggravation contrary to section 23 (1) (b) of the Larceny Act 1971.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 11th September 2021 at Wilberforce Street the western area in Freetown being armed with a knife robbed Jeffery Davies his black waist bag containing one million one hundred thousand Leones (1,100,000) l, coins of four thousand five hundred Leones (4,500), one damaged screen Samsung JS mobile phone valued one million five hundred thousand Leones (1,500,000) one Samsung galaxy A215 mobile phone valued the sum of two million Leones (2,000,000) one memory stick with information and composed music valued two hundred and fifty thousand Leones and one driver’s license valued six hundred and fifty thousand Leones (650,000) all to the total sum of five million five hundred thousand Leones property of Jeffery Davies.
The charges were read to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate Keikura refused bail and send the accused person at the male correctional center in Freetown.
Inspector I.G Fofanah prosecuting the matter, and has been adjourned to the 25th October 2021.
