22yrs Kumba Kargbo made her first appearance before Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Obtaining money by false pretenses contrary to section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on the 1st July 2021 at Alscon Street Kissy the witness area in Freetown with intent to defraud obtained the sum of six million seven hundred thousand Leones (6,700,000) from Regiana Kanu by falsely pretending that you are going to buy a business for her knowing same to be false.
The changes read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty, and the accused person was unrepresented. Sergeant Gibrilla Sesay is prosecuting the matter.
Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh adjourned the matter to the 24th October 2021.
