28yrs old Christian Jarrett made his first appearance before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Pademba road court No.3 in Freetown on two count charges of Conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law and Robbery with violence contrary to section 23(1)(b) of the Larceny Act of 1916 as replaced and replaced by section 2 of Act No.16 of 197.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 21st September 2021 at Thomas drive, hill station the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime and on count two the accused person robbed Dorothy Hubbard one I- Phone touch valued seven million Leones (7,000,000) and immediately before the action did use violence to the said Dorothy Hubbard.
The accused person was unrepresented and the charges were read to him by the court clerk and he pleaded not guilty. Accused was sent to the male correctional center in Freetown. Inspector T Macfoy prosecuting the matter, and has been adjourned to the 11th October 2021.
