Two accused persons, Abraham Mansaray and Ishmael Mansaray have been dragged to Court by the Executive Director/Chairman of Freetown Cheshire Home Dr. Abdulai Dumbuya. The accused are said to have broken into the office of the plaintiff and stolen laptops valued over fifteen millions of Leones.

They were arraigned before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Ross Road Magistrate Court on three count charges of office breaking and larceny contrary to Section 26 (1) of the larceny Act 1916 and another count of receiving stolen goods contrary to Section 33 (1) of the larceny Act 1916.

According to the charge sheet on count one, the first accused Abraham Mansaray on Friday 6th November 2020, at Freetown Cheshire Home, Race Course, Client town, Freetown, with intent to steal, broke and entered into the office of Dr. Abdulai Dumbuya CEO/Chairman at Freetown Cheshire Home and stole therein two dell laptop computer and it chargers valued fifteen million three hundred and fifty thousand Leones, property of the Freetown Cheshire Home, Dorothy Springer Trust (DST).

On count two, it was alleged that the first accused Abraham Mansaray on Friday 6th November 2020, Freetown Cheshire Home Race Course, Cline town, Freetown, with intent to steal broke and entered into the office of Dr. Abdulai Dumbuya and stole three dell laptop computer and it charged valued twenty two million five hundred and thirty thousand Leones, property of Freetown Cheshire Home and Dorothy Springer Trust (DST).

On count three, the second accused Ishmael Mansaray on Monday 9 November 2020, at Shell New road, Freetown, did received one dell laptop computer valued seven hundred and fifty thousand Leones, which he knew to have been stolen.

The second accused Ishmael Mansaray was granted bail at the sum of fifty million Leones, whiles the first accused Abraham Mansaray was remanded in custody until the 4th February 2021 for hearing to commence.
