FC Kallon Football Club will today Friday 17th September 2021 host better rivals Republic of Sierra Leone Football Army Forces Football Club (RSLAF) at the Siaka Stevens Stadium at 7pm.
According to Alhaji H. Koroma the Public Relations Officer of FC Kallon the team is in high spirits to face their counterparts in todays, because all the players who were on national assignment have returned with wealth of experience to help the team get off from where they left during the break period.
He affirmed that the team has been in an intensify preparation day in day out and the players want to impact what they have learnt from the National team to club level, and called on all FC Kallon fans to be confidence as today win will send signal to other teams in the Premier League that they are force to reckon with as they all will battle for the trophy.
“We are determined to win this 2020/21 Sierra Leone Premier League and a win for us today will set that pace for the team,” Alhaji H. Koroma said.
He added that the technical team of FC Kallon is more than prepared for today encounter against RSLAF because the team has been training all these while and wants to earn their first win in the Premier League after the break; management has done all the needful to boost the players ahead of the crunch tie and to maintain high spirits in the camp.
FC Kallon last won the Sierra Leone Premier league back in 2006, since that time the team is yet to lift the trophy, aside being in the second position in the pass years.
In the other matches during this weekend; on Saturday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium Mighty Black pool Football Club will go head to head with Old Edwardian Football club as their opponent is looking forward picking up its first three points. The match will kick off at 7pm.
On Saturday at the Parade grounds informed Central Parade Football Club will welcome Mount Aureole SLIFA , the host team want to continue the winning spree and the match will kick off 4:15 pm
At the PORT LOKO Mini Stadium Bai Bureh Warriors will welcome Freetown City Council (FCFC) the last weekend the team suffer a home defeat against Old Edwardian Football club and they are looking to pick up their first win and the match will kick off at 4:15pm
On Sunday the defending Champions East End Loins will welcome Kamboi Eagles football club at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, East End Loins will want to continue their win spree, while Kamboi Eagles football club is also looking forward to get the first three points away from home.
Sunday at the Wusum mini Stadium, Wusum Stars Football club will welcome Port Authority Football club, the teams are looking forward to register their first win in the resumption of the Premier league.
According to the head coach of PORT AUTHORITY, Lamin Bangura the boys are in high spirits and want to get there first win in the resumption of the Sierra Leone Premier league.
