BoDFA to Resume Division Two Football Tournament

Following Monday’s meeting regarding BoDFA Division Two “Project Restart”, BoDFA has been given green light to resume Division Two tournament behind closed door. The Division Two tournament was suspended a week ago due to the 3rd wave of Coronavirus.

It has been agreed that it will resume on the 1st July, 2021 with Kindia Rangers welcoming Yemoh Stars in a derby match at 2pm while Peace Makers will face Rangers FC at 4pm.

Only players and officials are allowed in Bo Coronation Field and they must be masked up before entering the field.

Speaking to this medium, some of the players said if that is the decision of DICOVERC in Bo to restart the league behind closed door, is welcoming news.

Brima Fullah, one of the players said that it will be good that they strictly adhere to COVID-19 regulations.

“We are calling on all players to ensure we don’t go outside the enhanced COVID-19 regulations. Some of the football stakeholders said the BoDFA division two has been very organized and expressed the hope that spectators including fans of the division two clubs will show understanding as the tournament will be played behind close door.
