Mohamed Bangura, Yusif Caulker, Momoh Koroma and three others made another appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on three count charges to wit Failure to give notice for procession contrary to section 17 (1) of the Public Order Act 1965 Act No.46 of 1965, behaving in a disorderly manner contrary to section 12 (a) of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965 as amended and replaced by Section 1 of the public order amendment Act No.2 and 15 of 1973 and throwing missiles contrary to section 6 of the public order Act No.46 of 1965.

According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 13th June  2023 the western area in Freetown failed to give notice for procession; on count three at the same place and date the accused persons did behave in a disorderly manner and  on count three the accused persons were found throwing missiles.

Delivering his Ruling, Magistrate Ngegba said the prosecution has adduced sufficient evidence against the accused persons and he found the accused persons on each counts charge and sentenced them to seven months imprisonment each at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.

 Sergeant 9939 Mohamed Lahai prosecuted the matter.
