Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Court No. 1 has on the 16th March, adjourned the Murder matter of a four years old girl, Princess Kallon for the prosecution to present their next witness. The four years old was allegedly murdered by one Bernadette Yeama Solomon who is presently before the court on preliminary investigation.
It is alleged on the charge Sheet that on Friday 25th December 2020 at No. 40 Main Road Waterloo rural district the accused physically assaulted the four years old princess Kallon which led to her death.
According to the report filed by Police inspector 558 Philip Kargbo attached to division traffic waterloo police station said relatives of the deceased reported a case of road accident which led to the death of the deceased. He said after investigation they found out that the report was on the contrary and forward the matter to the Criminal investigation Department for further investigations in the medical report issue to police by the pathologist Dr. Owiss Simeon Koroma.
The report stated that the four years old suffered multiple blunt force injuries with several physical assaults. Magistrate Ngegba said he was not ready to proceed with the matter due to the unavailability of witnesses.
Matter has been adjourned to 24th March 2021.
