33yrs old Lansana Kamara made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on three court charges to wit Wounding with intent contrary to section 18 of the offences against the person Act 1861, Wounding contrary to section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861and Assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 3rd April 2022 off Aces building Cape road Aberdeen the western area in Freetown wounded Musu Turay with intent to do her grievous bodily harm.
On count two at the same place and date assaulted her in a manner thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person No plea was taken
The accused person was unrepresented however Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 26th April 2022 for further hearing.
