The Motema police divisional headquarters in Nimikoro Chiefdom Kono District is investigating the alleged mob killing of a thirty three (33) year old man in Sandor chiefdom Kono District.
Police reports say the thirty three year old man Ibrahim Sesay (Akaline) was allegedly killed between Gbanandu and Madina Villages in Sandor Chiefdom Kono District after he was caught with a stolen sheep on the motor bike he was riding.
The police reports furthered that the deceased was allegedly beaten and stabbed to death by unknown people noting that they are investigating the matter in order to bring to book those who might have killed the deceased.
The deceased wife Isata Kamara told our correspondent that Prior to the death of her husband at least two motor bike riders visited their home at night and had some secret discussions with her husband.
She stated that she was never in approval of such discussions which later made her husband and those that visited him left the home
“I stopped him not to go but he insisted it was only in the follow morning when I was told that my husband was caught with a stolen sheep and was killed by unknown people” she maintained.
Meanwhile at least five suspects are in police custody helping them with their investigations whilst the remains of the deceased have been handed over to his family members for burial.
