27yrs old Mohamed Lamin Sesay,27 yrs old Amara Sesay and 19yrs old Doris Tucker made their first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.2 in Freetown on three court charges to wit Conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law and two count of Robbery with Aggravation.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 22nd March 2022 at Berwick Street and Gabriel Street Junction the western area in Freetown conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Robbery with Aggravation. On count two being armed with a knife robbed Pious Sesay of his pink color Blu smart mobile phone valued six million, five hundred thousand Leones (6,500,000) property of the said Samuel Conteh and on count two the accused persons being armed with a knife robbed Samuel Conteh of his Black Tecno Spark-2 mobile phone valued two million five hundred thousand Leones (2,500,000) property of the said Samuel Conteh.
The charges were read and explained to the accused persons and they pleaded not guilty.
The accused persons was unrepresented, while Lawyer Sigismund Conteh represented the complainants.
Magistrate Ngegba refused bail and sent all accused persons to the male and female Correctional center in Freetown. Matter adjourned to the 4th April 2022 for further hearing.
