Police attached to the BO East division has visited a scene of crime at Total garage where they arrested 26bages of EDSA cooper cables that were waiting to be trafficked out of the country.
The police said they acted upon intelligence from both the media and the community about stolen EDSA cable.
According to Sheku Bah who is currently in police custody and whom the stolen coppers were discovered in his possession in a Benz poda poda with registration number ANT 923, initially affirmed the items are unused metals.
On arrival at the Bo East police station, the unused or scrap metal metamorphosed into to EDSA copper cables.
The suspects are in police custody helping with investigation.
