25yrs old Borbor Allen has on the 23rd September, 2021 made his first appearance before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker on one count charge of shop breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Friday 17th September 2021 at Wallace Johnson Street the western area in Freetown with intent to steal broke and entered into the shop of George Fewry and stole therein one musical set value two million five hundred thousand Leones (2,500,000), ladies shoes value two hundred thousand Leones (200,000), ladies Sandals value two hundred thousand Leones (200,000) ladies brown bag value four hundred thousand Leones (400,000) one whisky OCD Bange value eighty thousand Leones one short rubber cotuba drink value thirty five thousand Leone(35,000) all to the total value of three million four hundred and fifteen thousand Leones (3,415,000) property of George Fewry.
The accused person was unrepresented, while Sergeant 8811 Florence M. Wilson is prosecuting the matter. Matter adjourned to the 1st October 2021.
