Authorities in Sorogbema chiefdom has on the 8th November, 2021 found the remains of 21 year old Baindu Kamara who prior to her death was residing in Malomi village Kemokai section Sorogbema chiefdom Pujehun district.
John Mansalay, a resident of Malomi village and guardian of the deceased told A-Z that Baindu left them to prepare palm oil in a nearby bush in Malomi as she told them that she was going to participate in her school cleaning exercise in Jendema.
“The deceased left us preparing palm oil and then went to Jendema for cleaning exercise in her school. She never returns home. We reported to the police on Saturday morning and they asked us to search for her within 72 hours. In the morning hours of Monday, we have discovered her decomposed naked body 25 meters off the Main road 1 mile outside Malomi village,” he said.
Present at scene were the Police, local authorities, medical practitioners, family members of the deceased and inhabitants of the neighboring villages.
Speaking to this medium, Michael Ansu Boshua, a Class 6 teacher of Ahmadiyya Muslim Primary School Jendema noted that the last time the deceased went to school was on Tuesday 2nd November 2021.
“I last saw her in class on last Tuesday; the register can speak for itself. I did see her in our school cleaning exercise. None of her parents ever visited our school to know whether she came for cleaning exercise on Thursday” he said.
Meanwhile, the police of the Mano River Division in Jendema have refused to comment on the mysterious death of the female folk as they said that investigations are ongoing.
