26yrs old Sinnah Angela Sesay made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Keikura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on four counts charges to wit wounding with intent contrary to section 18 of the offences against the person Act of 1861.
Wounding contrary to section 20 of the offence against the person Act of 1816, Assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offence against the person Act 1861 and Domestic violence in the form of physical abuse contrary to section 2 (1) of the domestic violence Act 2001.
It was alleged from the Police charge sheet that on the 16th May 2021 at Loko Town the mountain rural area in Freetown wounded Fatmata Sesay with intent to do her grievous bodily harm.
And on count two and three it was alleged that on the same date the accused maliciously wounded, assaulted the said complainant in a manner there by occasioning her actual bodily harm.
Counsel representing the accused person W.C Iloba renewed his application for bail for and on behalf of the accused person.
Magistrate Keikura granted her bail in the sum of twenty million Leones or one surety in like sum the surety must be resident in the Western Area and the said surety should produce any form of identity card to be approved by the DAR.
Inspector Andrew Komba prosecuting and the matter adjourned to 22nd June 2021.
