18yrs old Mohamed Simbo Conteh a Pupil made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 24th September 2022 at No.76c George Brook Dwarzak Farm the western area in Freetown stole thirty length of 1/2 inches iron rods valued three million three hundred thousand Leones (3,300,000) old Leones Property of Bambay Koroma whilst in the custody of Musa Sesay.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor told the bench that fact as charge there’s no available records. The accused person was unrepresented and pleaded for mercy.
However, due to the plea mitigation Magistrate Gogra sentenced the accused person to twenty four months imprisonment to the male correctional center in Freetown, while Inspector Mabel M Tarawalie prosecuted the matter.
