At the Criminal session at the High court held at Freetown on the 31st January 2022 before Justice Komba Kamanda at the Judicial Week, Peter Kargbo made another appearance on one count charge to wit Manslaughter.
According to the particulars of offence on the 28th day of August 2016 at 52 Babadorie Lumley the western area in Freetown unlawfully killed Haja Mariama Jalloh
The accused person was represented by A.Kargbo and S.S Pessima from legal Aid Board.
The prosecution counsel Yusif Isaac Sesay led three witnesses including the factual witness and the formal witness.
The accused person relied on his statement made to the police.
However, Justice Kamanda in given his ruling said from the evidence in chief the way and manner the deceased was brutally killed and the accused person pleading for mercy, he sentenced the accused person to fifteen years imprisonment to the male correctional center in Freetown.
